To our community,

The air feels heavy right now, thick with anger, fear, and uncertainty. Many of us are carrying this in our bodies while trying to make sense of what’s happening around us or we are forced to disengage to just stay regulated. Political turmoil and collective trauma aren’t just news stories—they’re deeply personal realities, especially when you care about justice, equity, and humanity. And we care about that.
At Mosaic Therapy Collective, we firmly believe that the personal is political. Politics are already personal, and within just days of major changes, we’ve seen fearful ideas thrown around and hateful rhetoric that makes it painfully clear who is being targeted and harmed. These people, they are our people, they are us.
Even for those who feel they aren’t directly impacted, these times challenge us all and hit home for everyone everywhere in the United States. This may invite a reckoning with systemic internalized bias, positionality, and/or the ways isolation and privilege can keep us from seeing the bigger picture. The truth is, we all need community, accountability, and care—especially now.
If there is any good news in this moment, it is that we are here to hold space for both. Whether you’re feeling afraid, spiraling, or enraged—or if you’re grappling with how to better understand your role in the collective—we’re here for you. No judgment. No sugarcoating. Just a safe, affirming space to process, grow, and heal. If this message resonates with you in any way, I ask that you connect with us in any way so we can continue supporting you. If this doesn't or this message brought up discomfort for you, we also want to explore that with you too. Let Mosaic's mission be clear and our desires be known, even if that means we are not for everyone. We are okay with that and we know what we stand for and will continue to show up and support our community!
We all need support right now. Let’s face this together. With love,
