Our speaker, Dr. Brooke Powers, Ph.D., HSP-P, RYT-200 (she/they), CEO and licensed psychologist (in CO and NC) at Mosaic Therapy Collective. With a passion for outreach and community connection since 2017, Dr. Powers has been deeply involved in social justice and advocacy efforts, including domestic violence, women’s rights, LGBTQ+ safety, suicide prevention, and college student engagement.
Dr. Powers opened Mosaic Therapy Collective LLC in February 2024, offering telehealth therapy services across more than 40 states and US territories. Her holistic approach includes individual therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Walk and Talk Therapy, group therapy, and yoga therapy. With a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Oklahoma State University, a doctoral internship at Appalachian State University, a Master’s in Counseling and Counselor Education from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Art Therapy from the University of Indianapolis, Dr. Powers specializes in complex trauma, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ and ENM/Poly issues, shame, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Born and raised in Indiana and now residing in Denver, Colorado with her partner and two dogs, Dr. Powers enjoys playing pickleball, exploring new breweries, all things mountainous activities, and snow skiing. Committed to supporting mental health and social justice, she aims to offer free virtual webinars nationwide to share knowledge, build community, and strengthen connections.
