My Story

I take a client-centered and collaborative approach to therapy, shaping each session around what feels most helpful for the person in front of me. I draw from Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems to support healing and growth of the whole self. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, affirming, and empowering, where clients feel truly seen and heard.

My own lived experiences as a transgender man continue to shape who I am as a therapist. Navigating questions of identity, belonging, and resilience has given me a deep appreciation for the healing power of being understood. I know the importance of representation in mental health, and I am committed to offering the kind of affirming presence I once hoped to find. EMDR has also been a transformative part of my own journey, and I feel passionate about sharing this modality with clients as they move toward resilience, recovery, and growth.

I work with a wide range of concerns, with particular dedication to supporting people navigating trauma, anxiety, and depression, as well as those seeking a safe space to explore their identities. My hope is that clients feel valued not just for their struggles but for their strengths, and that they leave our work together with a greater sense of agency, self-trust, and connection.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy hiking, playing music, trying out new restaurants with my partner, and recharging with close friends or a good TV show. One fun fact is that I once performed in the halftime show of the 2014 Super Bowl as part of my marching band.
