My Story
I take an integrative, holistic approach to therapy, drawing primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Polyvagal Theory. I am also trained in CBT, EMDR, and CPT. My work is rooted in trauma-informed care, with an emphasis on building safety, regulation, and coping skills before moving into deeper healing.
I believe in treating the whole person—mind, body, and behavior—and in co-creating treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique experiences, values, and goals. I work with teens, adults, and couples, and I am especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating trauma, anger, serious mental illness, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain. I also have experience working with veterans.
At the heart of my work is the belief that we are all doing the best we can with what we have—and that growth, change, and healing are always possible. In the therapy room, I strive to create a calm, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel seen, respected, and empowered. I value creativity, humor, and openness, and I love celebrating moments when clients begin to recognize their own progress.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy weightlifting, painting, hiking, and spending time outdoors. I love cooking soups, experimenting with sourdough, exploring Denver with my partner and our dog, and traveling to National Parks. A fun fact about me: I once lived in an RV for a year while completing my doctoral internship.
